Is SceneKick free?

SceneKick is free to download. SceneKick Pro adds more for when you’re preparing for an audition. Join for a week as a Day Player, monthly as a Guest Star, or yearly as a Series Regular. You’ll see exactly what’s included and the price before you pay.

Does it need the internet?

Only for one-time downloads: the natural voice (about 330 MB) and, on some iPhones, Apple’s speech model. After that, you can rehearse offline.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhones with iOS 18 or later, and Android phones. We’ll list the Android versions it supports at launch.

Is my script uploaded anywhere?

No. Your scripts and runs stay on your phone, and a scene only leaves it if you share it. Self-tapes are saved to your photo library, which iCloud Photos or Google Photos back up if you use them. One optional extra: if you connect your own ElevenLabs account for cloud voices, your partners’ lines (only theirs) go to ElevenLabs to be read aloud.

Can I use headphones?

Yes, and they help: the mic hears you, not the reader. The speaker works too.

What languages does it support?

SceneKick is made for scripts in English for now.

Is there an Android version?

Yes. SceneKick comes to iPhone and Android at the same time. A SceneKick Pro purchase on one doesn’t carry over to the other.
